Networld - Research and Development Logo

Platform as a Service

In order to simplify the application development and the early prototyping and showcasing Networld provides a PaaS infrastructure. This page describes the general infrastructure and the advantages.

GET STARTED

Rapid Prototyping

Don't waste your time with administrative overhead or with deployment details. Start the development immediately and use the power of git to deploy your prototype automatically as soon as you have pushed your changes.

Make use of existing services such as MongoDB for persistent storage of data and files, RabbitMQ for reliable queueing and Redis for caching and sessions. All services are deployed as separated container and can be linked to the webapp.

SHOW OFF

Showcasing

Show your first prototype or application as early as possible and get feedback from different stakeholders. Public accessible application via sub-domain under a.networld.to.

BE SECURE

Encapsulated Container

The container structure encapsulates each application in a separate container. The communication with the outside world is only possible via the host machine. This protects not only the application, but also all other applications running on the same host.

PUBLIC

Public Docker Images

Basic docker images can be pulled directly from index.docker.io/u/networld. This allows the use or reuse of the same image locally as we use them remotely. Additional all Dockerfiles with related files can be found under github.com/networld-to.
